Support Administrator

Probrand Limited is recruiting a Support Administrator to join a busy administration team supporting our sales and technical departments based in our two locations in the Midlands.

Probrand Group is a leading end-to-end provider of technology through two award-winning businesses that specialise in IT products, IT services, and software.

Overall Purpose

The role of a Support Administrator is an integral part of the sales team. You will provide excellent customer service and administrative support to the Sales and Network teams; taking Technical Support calls and booking jobs. Liaising with third party suppliers when creating and chasing orders. Invoicing, filing, dealing with Sales queries, booking website and intranet jobs for customers, sorting the post, ordering stationery, creating and maintaining financial data reports, mail merges, submitting batches to our finance company and admin duties required for the Marketplace.

• Creating Orders
• Invoicing/Credits on Sage
• Stock adjustments/Order amendments
• Booking technical support calls for customers via phone, website, and intranet
• Labels
• Asset tagging and serial numbers
• Booking in stock/licenses
• Filing/Archiving; invoices, credits, job sheets, completed orders
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
• Chasing for ETAs on goods
• Checking the morning payments
• General queries from Sales regarding Admin and Marketplace.
• Supporting the contracts team with ad hoc administration tasks
• General administration duties
• To cover colleagues during holidays and sickness
• Supporting Management with any other tasks.

Skills required:

  • Previous customer service and administration experience (at least 2 years months).
  • You will be educated to at least GCSE level (5 GCSEs including Maths & English).
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment whilst producing accurate work.
  • Confident on the Telephone.
  • PC literate with excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook.
  • Experience in Sage advantageous (although this is not essential).
  • Adaptable and flexible as the department is very busy.
  • Willingness to work well in a team; encourages and adopts team goals; understands and appreciates others roles; learns from others; actively encourages teamwork, by providing support and assistance to others.
  • Strong attention to detail, with problem-solving ability to drive accurate and timely results.
  • A positive and enthusiastic team member with a ‘can do’ attitude, who feels equally confident working independently.
  • Calm and focused when working in a pressurised and fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable and flexible as the department is very busy.

Hours of work Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 17.30pm and Friday 08.45 – 17 .00pm. Occasionally Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 16.45pm and Friday 8.00 – 16.15pm.
