Overview

As the UK’s first marketplace for business IT & services, Probrand is now in an exciting growth phase and is looking for a bright, dynamic and well-organised team leader to drive a growing telemarketing team as part of the wider marketing organisation based out of Birmingham and Manchester. 

The role will be to lead from the front, delivering your own leads, whilst managing, driving and reporting team performance to hit targets for qualified leads from warm business contacts generated by marketing campaigns.

The focus is driving registrations and usage of our marketplace, and delivering leads for our IT support, managed IT services and IT solutions business by booking appointments for sales. 

Importantly, the role provides training, salary and commission on closed opportunities as we recognise you want to be rewarded on results rather than activity.       

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing qualification of leads (BANT) and booking appointments for sales

  • Recording contact level details and qualification

  • Working to meet targets

  • Driving, co-ordinating and reporting on performance

Skills

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong people management

  • Be motivated to work to hit targets and enthuse staff to hit targets and KPI’s

  • Great attention to detail

  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Previous team leader experience preferred

  • Technology related sector experience preferred

  • Ability to write detailed follow up notes and business reports

  • Outbound calling experience

  • Excellent written communication skills and strong telephone manner

  • Computer literate

  • Proven and demonstrable ability to maintain and build effective relationships

  • Good attention to detail

  • Knowledge of the tech/IT industry a distinct advantage

  • Mature attitude with a capability to discuss business issues

  • Confident and self-motivated

  • Friendly personality and a team player

Experience

Experience leading a Telemarketing/business development/internal sales team, B2B telemarketing experience, preferably within software or IT solution sales along with relevant lead generation experience. Should be target and results driven, have the ability to converse confidently at decision maker level and have an excellent telephone manner.
