Internal Recruiter

We are looking for an Internal Recruiter to join our Birmingham office, to work closely with HR and senior management to source and on-board staff across the 2 sister businesses. Working with KPI’s to proactively improve the recruitment process and reduce the cost of recruitment spend.

  • Responsible for the full recruitment life cycle from designing and placing adverts to on-boarding successful candidates.

  • Build strong working relationships and support all senior management with a range of recruitment and selection activities.

  • Proactively source new candidates through headhunting, social media, referrals and CV mining.

  • Build relationships with recruitment agencies to deliver a quality service and high calibre candidates.

  • Monitor the volume and quality of agencies on the Preferred Supplier List.

  • Source best possible job boards and negotiate costs.

  • Establish LinkedIn page to attract passive candidates, promote the group and publish vacancies.

  • Effectively screen high volume CVs and shortlist for interviews.

  • Arrange and support recruiting line managers with interviews.

  • Assist with training line management on recruiting, interviewing, and the selection process as required.

  • Arrange and hold assessment days for certain vacancies.

  • Providing feedback to candidates post interview process.

  • Work with HR to assist them with the recruitment process.

  • Utilise the company website to advertise vacancies and increase candidate attraction.

  • Build relationships with apprenticeship providers, colleges and universities.

  • Attend job fairs, graduate fairs and related networking events.

  • Monitoring KPI’s on recruitment sourcing and costings.

  • Report on KPI’s to HRBP and Directors.

  • Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company's ability to attract competitive candidates.

  • Undertake benchmarking activities to ensure we are competitive within the market place.

  • Support HR activities and projects as requested by the HRBP.


    Ideal candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a recruiter for either an agency or in-house role is essential.

  • Experience in recruiting for IT roles is essential.

  • Someone who can make a positive difference to the recruitment function.

  • Ambitious and driven individual.

  • Professional telephone manner.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office Packages.

  • Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System.


    Full time (39.5 hrs per week). The hours are 8.45am – 5.30pm Mon to Thurs and 5.00pm finish on a Friday, with 45 mins for lunch.
